by I have the following problem:
Numlock prevents from changing keyboard focus. That is: I can move
windows and get them to front, but I cannot write to them.
Another problem (which I haven't taken a closer look to) is that using
numeric keypad on emacs closes X... a bit more serious...
As it would seem, these problems are related. I do not remember having
these problems with earlier version of XFree, but at the moment I cannot
check it.
Another source of the problems could be the keyboard. It is
Digital's lk471, I haven't found any keymapping information for it.
Using the machine as an X-terminal for a Digital Alpha osf1 4.0/ CDE
produces none of these problems.
