Hi there,
I am currently trying to config my HP vectra machine with S3 Trio64V2
to work with Linux, however, the accelerated X server for S3 support
only Trio64 generic. I try to use the SVGA server but I get a very
messy screen that I have to reboot to exit the X window. The XF16 works
but the resoulution is unacceptable. Does any of you know how I can get
the SVGA server to work, or if better, get an update X server for S3?

1. HELP with XFREE86 and chipset S3 TRIO 64V2/GX 86C785
I have a problem during the installation of XFREE86 in my new computer.
Windows 95 configuration gives this information: Compaq S3V2 PCI V1.60 (S3)
and the chip is S3 TRIO 64V2/GX 86C785
Can somebody help me?
