Diamond Stealth 64 2001 Series - ARK2000PV

ARK2000PV IS supported by Xfree3.1.2 but you'll need to run Windows'95 or
Windows 3.1 to program the card before running linux (statart windows
and reboot with ctr-alt-del). If you run xf86 config you'll notice that
the dotclocks probed have changed.

Cheers,

Eduardo

Eduardo is right.  I had good luck with this on my Micron Millennia
this morning.  I ended up installing the "GO95" software from the
utilities disk.  If you are running Windows 95, you will want to
shutdown to DOS mode first.  After that, I ran GO95.EXE and selected
a Monitor, etc.  It wrote the changes to my AUTOEXEC.BAT, and I
promptly commented out those changes because Windows 95 doesn't like
the DMS driver to be loaded.  While still in DOS mode, I ran
'C:\GO95\DMS MONITOR' and then rebooted with CTRL+ALT+DEL.

After I got back to Linux and ran 'X -probeonly 2>x.log'
(/var/X11R6/bin/X is a symbolic link to /usr/X11R6/bin/XF86_SVGA an
a.out binary that I got from the XFree86-3.1.2 archive) I saw an 80.6
MHz dot clock.  Below are the monitor, device, and screen sections from
my XF86Config.  It's not fancy, but it's enough for me to get some
work done.  Thanks to all who have helped me get going.

1. Diamond Stealth 64 2001 Series - ARK2000PV

I looked through the Diamond FAQ (InfoMagic) and
EVERYTHING I could get my hands on - I did not see any
mention of the Diamond Stealth 64 2001 Series.  I have been
trying to get XFree86 up with little success.  I have tried
both xf86config and Xconfigurator.  Maybe you can help *PLEASE*.

The Probing is returning low Clock values (I think
Horizontal ones) and it is not picking correct Modelines.
I can say I got the 640x480 to work once.  I am getting
frustrated and close to desperate!!!  Here is my graphics
