Installing font: SMOOTH

Hi all, quick question.  I'm trying to install a font (SMOOTH) on my
Mandrake 7.1 system, using DrakFont.  Drakfont punts (just doesn't install
anything) every time I try to install it.  Anybody have any ideas?  Thanks,
much.

Even a link to the best manner in which to manually install it would be
helpful.  I don't mind "RTFM", just tell me where the appropriate "M" is =].

1. What is the initial value for smoothed RTT and smoothed mean deviation?

I would like to know more about the retransmission timeout value at
Redhat 6.0. I would like to know what is the initial value for smoothed
RTT and smoothed mean deviation. Besides, if there is no measured RTT,
does the smoothed RTT will be measured RTT and smoothed mean deviation
will be 3 x RTT?
