Unrot13 this;
Gene Heskett sends Greetings to cjh ;
My modules.conf, or whatever file installs the emu10k_3b driver, has an
option line on the next line giving it a -f. That is supposed to work
for all kernels 2.2.5 and up in the 2.2.x series. Its worked ok with
the 2.2.9, 2.2.10 , and the 2.2.10-ac12 kernels here.

It does seem to need help, it occasionally stumbles for a few
milliseconds here, and even the right kernel version does it.
I get the impression its a DMA or IRQ conflict of some sort.
