If I was going to buy an inexpensive (PCI) SCSI card, should I
buy a BusLogic FlashPoint or an Adaptec card or what? The
BusLogic-948, which would have been my first choice, has ruled itself
out on grounds of price, I think.
(Where _is_ the cheapest place to get BusLogic hardware?)
1. Inexpensive PCI 3.3V SCSI card for SANE scanner?
I'm building a machine that has no 5V (32-bit) PCI slots, so I need a SCSI
card with a 3.3V or Universal connector. Cards such as Adaptec 29160 are
well over $200, and surely total overkill to just drive a scanner with.
Suggestions? Thanks.
