Do you have expertise on either the as/400 side or the Unix side? I can
find my way around the as/400 side, but I don't know how to read raw data
from a tape under Unix. Maybe it's as simple as dd.
Anyway, if you have someone knowledgeable on the Unix side (to read the
tape) I can probly help you to create the tape on the '400. Let me know.
Please remove the "nospam" in my email address.

1. Help wanted -- Data General data tape
Hello, netters:
Not sure if this is the appropriate place for this question. We received
a 9 track data tape. The tape was backuped from a Data General system.
After two weeks' struggling, we got noting but funny binary code. Is there
any way to retrive the data from tape? Many thanks!
