Hi Tae Joon,

Here's what you want to do. FTP to site "ftp.infomagic.com" and retrieve
files:
                              aic7*

This should do the trick.

If you'd like to return email, please wait a few days for my email
account to be established with my ISP.

Good luck,

Derek

I have a Samsung computer, which has an Adaptec AIC-7850 SCSI
controller inside the main board. I've tried to install Linux
slackware version, but it doesn't support AIC-7850 SCSI
controller. Is there anyone who knows the way to make the Linux
to understand AIC-7850 SCSI controller?

I've ftped the files from ftp.infomagic.com, and I have made an boot
diskette with file with aic7xxx.gz(the file is locate in bootdsks.144)
, and booted!(and another boot
diskette that should be made with a file from rootdsks.144, was
made with the newest version of it) But it still doesn't recognize
my SCSI AIC-7850 controller!
Since there's no information file on how to use, I have no idea
what to do next. Please inform me again with your another helpful
information on how to use those files to boot.

Thank you in advance.
