I wish people would stop arguing with things that don't exist.
_Where_ can I _buy_ a MMX Version 2 PentiumII?
Btw: wait until the first EV6 boards hit the market. Dropping an Alpha
21264 into the CPU socket (instead of an AMD K7) will rock the shit
out of anything you have seen yet. Anyway, since these beasts don't
exist, they are not a choice right now --- I'll get a BX board with a
PentiumII :-( EV6 will hopefully be a choice when I get the next
Same for PII with MMX Version 2 --- it might be a choice, but
it has to hit the stores first.
P.S: you know that MS-Windows beats Linux, right? Just ask Billy,
he'll tell you.

I've starting to build a new Linux box to replace my aging 486/33. I was
wondering if there were any advantages of choosing an AMD K6-2 w/3DNow! over
the older AMD K6? I won't be doing anything in 3D and the 100 MHz bus isn't
that important to me. Are there any other advantages, like if AMD improved
the FPU? Thanks!
