Just kill the OS/2-partition and let the bootmanager still be there.
The OS/2-bootmanager can be used *without* OS/2.
If you want to make changes in the partition table later, boot OS/2 from
a floppy and type fdisk. (and make sure you have fdisk on the floppy..)
I use OS/2 to boot DOS and Linux. Works great.
