Will the ThinkPad combo CD-RW/DVD drive work in Linux?

Post by Douglas Carmichae » Thu, 21 Jun 2001 12:28:17

I'm considering buying a ThinkPad T22 or A22p for my next Linux laptop,
and I'm wondering whether the CD-RW/DVD combo drive would work well in Linux
for playing DVDs and writing CD-R(W)s (data and audio) with cdrecord or
whether I should stick to separate drives for each function.

Any of you had any experiences with both?

appreciated.

Thank you.
