Does anybody know how to get linux to recognize this device?
(Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer Plus 7200, externel)
I found the paraport/paride stuff on torque.net, but it all seems horribly
out of date, refering to compiling in modules that are already in the
kernel, it seems.
If anyone could please give me /any/ hint, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
Can anyone help me on this one. I have the HP 7200 external rewriter which
operates on parallel port.
How can I get it work with the 3.1? First of all, how can I use it as a
cd-reader and then second, what software do I need to burn cd's with it?
