I just recently installed XFree86-3.1 on my Linux 1.1.89 and I'm getting
some weird red color when I scroll on Xterm. Looks like the bitblitter is
getting the wrong color when doing certain things. If anyone could lend
assistance please let me know.

Nevermind, I just found the XFree86-3.1.1 section on sunsite. I'm a loser.

1. Problem after Xfree3.1.1 -> Xfree3.1.2
Since I upgraded from Xfree3.1.1 to Xfree3.1.2 (ELF,Slackware3.0)
I have the following problem with privtool and perf:
privtool shows the message list in black on black background.
If I click on the black, I can read messages as usual.
With perf the 'cpu' display also shows up
black on black ground, the other displays (load,swap, etc) work as
they're supposed to.
The problem appears on newly compiled versions (ELF) as well
as with the old a.out-binaries, so it must be the Xserver.
Does anybody know how to fix this ?
