Linux on 83MHz O/D or Cyrix 5x86

Hi, Everybody!
Has anybody run Linux with either the 83MHz Pentium Overdrive or
the Cyrix 5x86 CPUs?  I'm considering upgrading my 486/66 to something
faster (mainly for the speed in WIN95 *sigh*), but given that Linux is
optimised for the 486, do either of the above CPUs make Linux go faster?
TIA
SHANE

1. Q: Linux and Cyrix 5x86 / AMD 5x86

I am thinking of upgrading my 486 33Mhz system and I was wondering
if anyone has had any experience with Cyrix 120 or the AMD 133
cpu's.  Specifically, are there any compatibility issues with
running Linux?
