I have a Sony CDU55E CDROM which is recognized by Linux
when connected to the primary IDE controller in my system.
However, when the drive is connected to the IDE controller
on my Mozart sound card, it appears to see the IDE interface,
but only when I use "hdc=cdrom" at the boot prompt, and it
does not see the CDROM. Does anyone know if it is possible
to get Linux to recognize the CDROM using the IDE interface
on the Mozart sound card?
Thanks.
