Problem with graphic card

Post by Gemm » Wed, 15 Mar 2000 04:00:00

I have a very stupid problem to install Corel Linux. It doesn't accept
my graphic card inside my portable. Have anybody a tip how I can make it

working.
It is a LCD screen with a Trident display adapter. That's all I know
about it.
I hope anybody can help.

Nice greetings from

1. Problems with graphic card!

Hello, can anyone help a beginner with his graphic card problem?
I set up Suse Linux 7.2 Professional on a Pentium 200 (65536K) with
a "Tseng Labs ET6000/ET6100 PCI" graphic card. My monitor is a Belinea
Monxx (770).
The problem is, that the windows in the graphic mode are nearly black.
I tried "sax", found "Tseng" in the graphic card list, took it,
started again, but there was no difference.
Is the graphic card broken?
Maybe somebody can tell what to do?
Thanks in advance
