It works quite well as an 'external' plugin as well. It's plugin
install didn't quite work, so I just set it up as an external
        application.

<command> %s is the general syntax.

Does anyone know how to setup a 'spoof' plugin for Quicktime?
Several sites (like starwars.com) don't seem to allow access
to some files unless you've got a proper quicktime plugin
        (which is nonexistent on Linux).

RealPlayer 7 beta for Linux HOW TO INSTALL

All you have to do is rename the file. The way I use is to: mv
real_7_0_i386_rpm  real_7_0.i386.rpm
Notice that the "mv" command will rename the file, and that the two
underscores are now replaced with"dots".
Then just install the file as you would a normal rpm. The remaining
underscores don't seem to matter.

try Xswallow.  It lets you set up any program as
any type of plugin.  The machine I normally get it
from seems to be down, but I found a mirror of it
at tucows.com.  Hope that helps!

I love the new realplayer, but when I to install
the plugin, netscape crashes  (bus error) when I
try to run it.  Has anyone gotten Redhat 6.0,
netscape 4.7 working with this beta realplayer 7?

As per instructions on RealPlayer site:
1. rename the file to RealPlayer-7.0-1.i386.rpm
2. rmp -i RealPlayer-7.0-1.i386.rpm

1. Linux realplayer G2 beta

I got the exact same problem...  Real will not post a new version any soon.
I could get it to run any better as root.  The only way I found was to back
-date my system.  I guess we have to stay tuned to Real's site...

2. Redirecting standard I/O to a socket

3. Netscape 3.0x and RealPlayer 5.0 Beta 2

4. 16bpp with XF86Setup

5. RealPlayer beta 5.01

6. Change speed of Intel 10/100B

7. RealPlayer 7 beta

8. flwriter 0.0.5
