Very Computer

        Are the Creative Labs sound cards using the Vibra 16 chip & IDE CD-ROM
ports supported?  I only need sound support, I have a SCSI CD-ROM.  I
was told they use differant dos drivers than the previous SB-16
models, so I am worried about Linux.

Well,
I have an Intel Advanced EV motherboard, this has a SB Vibra16 on board.
It works a treat, so I guess boards with this chip should work too!

Works with my 1.2.9 kernel.  Apparently it has the same chipset as the
SB16.  Wish I knew the differences (if any).
