You will be able to kill processes owned by root if you are root. FirstQuote:> and how can I kick someone out if they are in as root?
fuser /dev/ttyp1
/dev/ttyp1: 301
If you check with ps -aux you will most likely find that pid 301 is a
shell. Then you will be able to kick out the other user with something
like:
kill -9 301
