Hi there,

RadioShack Flatfoto
SMaL Ultra-Pocket Digital Camera
Creative CardCam
Logitech Pocket Digital Camera

does somebody know how to access one of these USB cameras with linux (RH8)?

Is it a storage, a usb-camera, some special module, or how does it work??

A good first step is to type this:

# tail -f /var/log/messages

Then, while monitoring the display, plug in one of the devices, see what
the system does. If you are lucky, one or more of them will be recognized.

Then run "gtkam" and see if it recognizes the device. With each new
release, "gtkam" is getting more adept at recognizing digital
cameras.
