Hello!
I've got a Samsung CLP 510 Laser/Color USB Printer, which is connected to a
LevelOne Printserver-Box (FPS3002 USB).
This printserver-Box  has a RJ45 Connector and a USB-Connector.
It is connected to a LAN-switch, same as the Linux Computer, USB is
connected to the printer.
The printserver is running with his IP-adress 192.168.2.100.
I'm running SuSE Linux 10.0.
Also I found a ppd-file for this printer to configure it as a cups-printer
to print as a networkprinter with his ip-adress.
But is does'nt print at all.
Cups is configured with printing to 192.68.2.100:9100
nmap 192.168.2.100  found open ports:
Starting nmap 3.81 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2005-12-05 06:27 CET

Interesting ports on LevelOne (192.168.2.100):

(The 1657 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: closed)

PORT STATE SERVICE

23/tcp open telnet

80/tcp open http

139/tcp open netbios-ssn

515/tcp open printer

631/tcp open ipp

9100/tcp open jetdirect

MAC Address: 00:C0:02:FE:D5:3E (Sercomm)

Nmap finished: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.893 seconds

The printer will be initialized even I send a print-job but it does'nt print
out any documents.
ghostscript as well as foomatic-rip is installed but printout does'nt work.

Is there anyone who can help?

Thanks a lot!
Greetings,
*Karl*
