Hello there!

Has anyone written a driver for 3Com 3c595 (100Base TX)?
Any pointers are most appreciated, thanks!

Yes!  There is a driver for the 3c590 and 3c595.  I use it on many machines
here at work with 3c590 cards.  Works great, no problems.  Check out
Donald Becker's WWW page :

I think this driver will be incorproated into the 1.3.x kernel distribution
if it hasn't been already.  I use it quite happily with 1.2.13.

1. SCO support for 3com 3C595

Can someone tell me which version of SCO has support for 3com 3C595
100baseT ethernet?  We are getting in an unknown already-configured
SCO system (I might know what version in a couple days) and we'd
like to put it on our 100Mbit LAN.
