I doubt if your specific CDROM drive is supported specifically, but you
may be able to find a driver that is compatible at:

I'm trying to use an external parallel port Cdrom drive under Linux.
The thing is called RAP CDrom and the manual ( of the CDrom ) states
that this ( RAP ) is a kind of standard method ( I assume they mean
protocol ) to transfer data from/to the parallel port.
Ok, I tried the usual stuff ( as from the book ) :-), didn't get it
going ...

HELP !
