Hi
    i think of buying a dual processor based system with on board scsi
has anyone any advice on the gigabyte board as it seems good value
it has dual ultra wide scsi and supports 1 gig of mem

206 uk pounds +vat

1. Gigabyte GA-6BXDS - onboard 7895

Hi,

I'm about to get a GA-6BXDS (with just one CPU for the start...),
but I'm a little worried about the onboard Adaptec-7895. Red Hat
doesn't list it as supported; Suse tells me to look at the
Adaptec 788x page which is supported. So, is it really supported?
After all, the two chips _are_ different? This is quite important
for me, since I won't have any (E)IDE devices...
