Hi,

I installaed Suse Linux 8.2 yet.
My Soundcard "Terratec Sixpack 5.1" is not supportet by this version.

Is their any way to install this Card correctly?
The same problem exist with my Terratec Cinergy 600 TV-card.

1. Linux driver for Terratec Aureon 5.1 fun sound card

I Can't run successfully a Terratec Aureon 5.1 fun sound card under
Redhat Linux 8.0

I guess it's a lack of a suitable driver as sndconfig recognizes a
C-Media Electronics Inc|CM8738 and then can't play the sample sound
with the message:
unable to play audio, the following error occured playing the sample:
(then a blank line...)

Even if I try a manual configuration with the input:
CMedia pci audio (8338,8738)

I did not found any driver for this card on the net, although it was
released in november 2002.

Does anybody knows what happens, is a driver already available or
under development?

Thank you very much for your help.
