Hi,

I just bought this I/OMagic PC Personal Video recorder (PVR, Model
DR-PCTV100) from a local CompUSA, last week. I opened the package and
noticed that the card is basically made by a Pinnacle Systems GmbH PCTV
(pro) with the following chipset and info:

        Connexant
        FUSION 878A
        25878-13
        CC0207.3
        0010 KOREA

The tuner is Philips with the following info on its sticker:

        3139 147 13261B#
        F11236 Mk2/F hm
        SV23 0039
        MADE IN SINGAPORE

I am wondering if anyone has tried this on any Linux distro with a success
story and would like to comment and/or help.

Thanks.

That card uses the btt878 chipset and should work out of the box, I tried one
on a friends box a while ago and it sort of worked, but I put that down to a
very old distro and kernel as far as I know he has it working now after
upgrading to a newer Suse 8.1.

I have the older btt848 tv tuner from PCTV (Rave) and this works perfect.
