does anyone know why the so called Trio 3D from S3
is only supported by Xi Graphics and not by
XFree86...???

1. X server for S3 Trio 3D [S3 86C365] -> Does anybody knows where to get?
The only place where I see X "drivers" for S3 Trio 3D (and many more) is on
http://www.acceleratedx.com/Pages/ProductsMasterPage.html
Nevertheless they are very expensive.
Anybody knowns about alternatives
