Writing a device driver for AHA-2920 SCSI...

Post by Chris Maso » Thu, 01 Feb 1996 04:00:00

Apparently, AHA-2920 SCSI isn't supported.  Well, it will be a stretch
for me, but I would like to write a SCSI device driver to support it.
I have looked at the SCSI howto pages, and alot of the info looks
rather difficult.

How to people learn to write device drivers?

Best Wishes,

Use existing driver code and start modifying and learning from there.

Look at the "aic7xxx" source.  I know there are UNIX books just on
this subject as well.
