XF86 on TI Extensa 460 with Cirrus Logic CL-GD624X

I got myself a "new" notebook.
486DX4/100MHz 24MB RAM

I running vectorlinux(XF3.3.6) on it, but I cannot run den X-Server on
it. I nearly searched the whole web for it, but I cannot find anything.

Does anybody have the same Notebook and can post/send me the XF86Config
file.

Martin

I found a xfree config for a similar notebook:

http://www.sanpei.org/Laptop-X/Laptop-X/Texas_Instruments_Extensa_570CD

Perhaps you can use this config as a basis. Or try our Knoppix-Linux which
has an excellent hardware detection:

!!! HELP !!! Anyone hear of a bugfix for:
                ???? DUAL-SCAN LCD with CIRRUS LOGIC CL-GD62x5 ????

I'm running with the generic VGA16 driver, that works fine,  but as implied by
its name,  with 16 colors only.

Is there anybody around who found a fix for the problem?
