Are there any colour inkjet printers which are
supported under Linux?

At present the HP deskjet 720C or the
Epson Stylus 700 look good on paper :-)

and if not are these likely to be supported
anytime soon?

I've heard the "uniprint" driver in ghostscript 5.10 does a very
good job of supporting the Epson series.  I've heard it's quite
an improvement over the "stcolor" driver, which was already
pretty good.  Be sure to have a look at "devices.txt" in the
ghostscript distribution for more info about various models
and printing modes.

Better to stick with a 5xx or 6xx HP printer,
or an Epson Stylus 400/600/800
