1. Acer Altos 7000 and AIC-7770 SCSI controller
I have an Acer Altos 7000 computer (Pentium, 32Mb RAM, 3.6Gb HDD
Micropolis 1936)
I have tried to install Linux Slackware 2.1.0, using the scsi boot
disk, unsuccessfully.
I got the following messages while trying to boot:
aha274x warning: ignoring channel B of 274x-twin
aha274x: extened translation disable
AHA274X AT EISA SLOT 9:

Only a hard reset will correct the situation....
