Very Computer

I was gifted a nice old relic here...

An acer altos 9000 with dual pentium 166 processors and 196mb ram.. also
about a dozen scsi drives to go with it... I'm trying to get slackware
linux installed on it, but i get a lot of segmentation errors during
boot.. a lot of them. Sometimes i'll get through the boot and try
fdisk (i installed one ide drive for / and /boot) and i can do that,
but then when i try to start setup, it just seg faults and dies. I'm
thinking this is something specific with the altos.

Does anyone know of any good how-to or faqs about installing linux
(slackware) on an Acer Altos 9000?
