PCMCIA Modem Help- IBM Fax data modem V.90

Post by Brian McIlvain » Mon, 24 Apr 2000 04:00:00

cardctl reports that it sees a card in socket 0, and reports the ID as an IBM modem, buy I can't seem to get any further than that - I checked the linux hardware database, but didn't see it listed there. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

A bit more (mostly sad) info - I am writing this with my first linux
connection to the internet with a different (fully capable)
PCMCIA modem. Further inspection of the IBM revelas that it is simply a
remarked 3com PCMCIA 56K fax / data modem.  Don't think that baby is
going to fly.
