I have a ByteRunner card, and a slightly hacked serial.c, and it works
flawlessly at 230Kbps.

1. 16650 Serial port w/ Startech 16c650J UART
HELP!
After many attempts to get a 16650-based serial board to handle
ISDN, I finally settled on a Chase Research IOXTRA board with twin
Startech 16C650 UARTs. They have support (of course) for Micro$oft OS's
and SCO Unix, but don't support Linux. I have seen some references to
earlier kernel versions haveing 16450-level support for the Startech
chips, but can;t find anything to drive the 16650-mode. Kernel 2.0.34
does see it a a 16550, which is better, but that's still too slow for
full-tilt ISDN. Can anyone out there help me out? I'm willing to hack
serial.c if I have to, but I'm no C programmer, so be gentle!
