You know, some people don't get the entire subject header...
Instead of depending on the subject header to convey your
entire message, why not also include it in the body?

Iomega sells a Jaz-to-parallel SCSI adapter. It may be
another ppa-based item like the adapter that makes up
the parallel Zip drives, so the parallel Zip support in
the kernel may work.

Then again, it may be a completely different adapter. If
there is a driver it will be at Grant Guenther's Linux
Parallel Port Home Page. www.torque.net/linux-pp.html
The most helpful thing you could find out is the
brand, model, and chipset type of your parallel port
adapter.

For Pete's sake, go out and buy a SCSI controller. You can get them
cheaply, these days. I bought a Tyan Yorktown I for $95.00 from
http://www.rcsystems.com. I hear that the Buslogic 958 is also an
excellent controller; I don't know the price, however. Buying a SCSI
controller will also get you faster performance over parallel! However,
the new parallel standard might prove to beat even SCSI, but, in the
mean time, ...
