It's possible to use an ISA SCSI adaptor but the performance will be better
with the vastly greater bandwidth of PCI. Of course if you already have the
1542B then it's probably not worth junking it in favour of a PCI equivalent as
the performance on this is pretty decent unless you hang a whole load of
devices on.
