Always AL-7048 SCSI

Always AL-7048 SCSI

Post by David E Brannin » Fri, 07 Apr 1995 04:00:00

Has anyone had any luck with this SCSi board and Linux?

I have tried both SCSINET1 and SCSINET2 with no luck. Anyone know
    of any patches available?

Please e-mail me if you have any info about this matter.

Thanks,
David

1. Is Always AL-7048 SCSI card supported?

I've looked at SCSI-HOWTO, and it only lists IN-2000 as alpha driver.
Is 7048 backward compatible to 2000, or it's a different card and
not supported?  I'm looking for a good VLB SCSI card to use with
Linux.  Is Ultrastor 34F the only VLB card that has the support?
