Yup. I helped write a linux program that I used for 5 months to take
pictures for my web page (it took a picture every time someone reloaded
the page). In fact, there will be two QCs in my dorm room next year ;)
Basically, I got a broken camcorder for $5.00 (the recording part is
broken, but the video out is fine), and I wanted to use it for video
conferencing/3rd *...
