CD-ROM bootable SCSI

I am looking for a SCSI controller that will allow my machine
to boot from a CD-ROM, ala a DEC Alpha.  Anyone have any info
on such a beast?

Is mise,

Hmm,
I think any SCSI-Controller with an onboard BIOS which allows you
to install a CD-ROM as SCSI-ID 0 should work.

You should be more precise and say that only the BT-948 and BT-958/958D
have this option.  None of the earlier MultiMaster adapters have the
setting in their bioses.

I understand there's now a version of the BusLogic Linux driver for the
Alpha...
