Has anyone been able to get a Cirrus Logic CL-GD5446 to work in X
windows. I have tried using configuration utilities and editing the
files myself telling it that I had other CL cards. The best that I could
get from this was a corrupted 320x200 display.

If anyone has been able to get this to work could they please post their
XF86Config file to me or let me know how to do it.

Yes - it works fine with the XFree86-3.2 SVGA server. Previous (non-beta)
releases do not support this card. The relevant section in XF86Config
should read something like:

Section "Device"
    Identifier  "SVGA Graphics Card"
    VendorName  "Cirrus Logic"
    BoardName   "CL-GD5446"
    VideoRam     1024
    Option      "fifo_aggressive"
    Option      "linear"
    Option      "mmio"
EndSection
