Does anyone do softare RAID (eg., RAID0) with two IDE drives?
If so, what kind of performance do you get? (eg., hdparm, bonnie, etc)

I'm thinking of setting up a linux system as follows:
- Main filesystem: SCSI!
- Temp storage (eg., for video capture/playback): 2 striped IDE drives,
one on each controller on an Intel BX board.

Comments?
