RH 6.1 Netgear FA410TX NIC

RH 6.1 Netgear FA410TX NIC

Anyone,
I am trying to get RH 6.1 to use the netgear FA410TX NIC I have in my
lap top. I can tell the hardware is OK since it works under windows, and
Linux can see the card but I can't get it to activate it. RH 6.1 auto
detected it as a 8390 [pcnet_cs]. I don't think that is correct but I
can't find any driver info anywhere. Any help would be great.

All -
It turns out that the FA410TX is supported and is a 8390 [pcnet_cs]. Two
things caused the card not to work.
  1) the pcmcia control software was not starting until after networking.
Thanks to this
news group for pointing it out. I rearranged the start sequence and
got closer
  2) /etc/pcmcia/config.opts the line exclude irq3 was commented out. So the
LAN card was being assigned IRQ3. I am assuming this came like this from RH
since I didn't modify it. Thanks again for the help.
