I'm running Linux version 1.1.59 and installed an Adaptec 1505 and a NEC
CDR-210 cdrom drive.
When I try to use this CD-ROM under Linux, I pass the following line
when booting my system : aha152x=0x340,11,7,1 (I also tried to pass 0 as
last argument).
This results in the following output :
.. aha152x: processing commandline: ok
.. detection complete
.. aha152x: vital data: PORTBASE=0x340, IRQ=11, SCSI ID=7, ...
.. scsi0 : Adaptec 152x SCSI driver; $Revision 1.4$
.. scsi : 1 hosts
AT THIS MOMENT THE SYSTEM HANGS. The busy led of the cd-rom drive
starts burning and nothing else happens anymore.
Using the CD-ROM under DOS or Windows 3.11 gives no problems.
Any hint to solve my problem is welcome,
Thanks,
