I am trying to setup XF86Free on a HP Vectra VL2 4/50 with a Cirrus
Logic CL-5248 embedded video card with a NEC Multisync XV15+ monitor.
When I try to run the XF86Setup, the monitor goes blank, and the machine
hangs. Crtl + Alt + Bkspace does not do anything, and I must reboot.
I was wondering if any has a XF86Config file for this configuration,
or any suggestions to help me out.

1. Cirrus Logic CL-5428 and 16bpp
Sorry to probably ask and old question.
Is there any way to have my video board in 16bpp without being memory
mapped. The board is memory mapped at 0x0e00000 which is in conflict
with the main memory on my 16Mb machine.
