I recently found a old iomega-250-floppy-streamer and put it in my suse-
based machine. Unfortunately I dont have the slightest idea how to speak
with this thing. It is not recognized while boot by the floppy-module and
I cant find any other module the would make it ?
am I blind ?

thanx,

You need the ftape driver to make it work. Ftape is found on
ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/kernel/tapes

1. Irwin Floppy-Streamer

Hallo,

I have a Irwin-Floppy Streamer, which will be connected to the floppy
cable. It's a 120MB Streamer.
How are the chances to get it run with Linux 2.x kernel ?
Has anybody out there the same streamer as I have and does it run with
Linux?

Greetings
Peter
