*** DIALOGIC TELEPHONY BOARDS DRIVERS

Post by Nida » Fri, 13 Feb 1998 04:00:00

Hi,

I have Dialogic boards running on SCO Unix r3.2 v2 and I want to migrate to
Linux.

1) Are there any Linux drivers for Dialogic D41 and FAX40 boards ?
2) Can I use the SCO drivers for Linux and how ?

Thanks in advance !

Nidal.

No, but you should tell Dialogic that you want drivers.  Dialog has
stated that they are aware of the existance of Linux, but intend NOT
to support it at this time.

Unfortunately, no.  The internals are significantly different.

1. Do Dialogic drivers work under Linux? (telephony)

Has anyone used the dialogic drivers under Linux in a PRODUCTION setting? I am
developing an interactive voice response (IVR) system, and would love to use
Linux, my favorite OS in the world. But then, this is a production system, and
I need to be objective. Please respond here or by e-mail.
