Very Computer

I see that setserial supports 16550 uart chips.  I just plugged in two 16650
cards to be used with
ISDN modems.  How can I take full advantage of these cards - they should be
able to go as high
as 460.8 kbs.  When I plug them in - the system just sees them as 16550.

I just noticed somthing strange about my serial ports.   When I use them in
minicom - I can not set the speed above 9600.

Output from setserial:
    /dev/ttyS0 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16450
    /dev/ttyS1 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A (spd_vhi)
    /dev/ttyS2 at 0x03e8 (irq = 5) is a 16550A (spd_vhi)
    /dev/ttyS3 at 0x02e8 (irq = 12) is a 16550A (spd_vhi)

Any ideas?

Or any body know where I can get help?
