        Please teach me how to set up my home pc running Slackware Linux 3.0 (Kerenl 1.2.13) to entertain login via telephone
line (i.e. dial-up method) in details (especially step by step) . (getty? agetty? mgetty? ...)
        Also , how to set up it as a BBS ? (Please explain in details , too.)
        Can one be given the choice to launch a X-windows application when the System Administrator types in "xhost
+<client_username>" merely ? Please let me the whole picture !
        Besides , can I launch a X-windows application when setting TERM=vt100 ? Otherwise , please let me all the
environments and TERMs under which one can do so .

        Without an email address, we can do very little to help you. Beyond
that, teaching you how to run a BBS is far beyond the scope of this newsgroup.
If you have a single hardware related question, you should ask it. Teaching
semester courses on BBS operation is impossible to do via email. I suggest you
find the HOWTO documents and do some research on your own.
        You could also be a little less confusing with your language. The
majority of Linux users are English speaking (at least they speak it well
enough to get by), and I would bet that very few of them can understand this
thing you call a news posting. I know I cannot understand most of it.
