I have a Compaq Proliant 5000 with 2 Intel 200 Mhz processors that I
installed Slakware Linux (kernel 2.0.32) on last night.... Following
some instructions I found on the Web, I uncommented the SMB=1 in the
main makefile and rebuilt and installed the kernel.....
Unfortunately, it continues to only see one processor (how do you tell
other than to look at the boot log?).... Does anyone have any clues??
It's the first time I've tried to install Linux on an SMP machine.....
Any ideas or reference would be welcome....
