Hello!
Redhat 9.0 successfully detects my Epson Perfection 1660 USB scanner,
however it sees it as a GT-8500... Does anyone know how I can get the
application to see the scanner as the correct model?
Thanks!

It thinks my Perfection 1650 is a GT-8200, but it still seems to work
just fine.

1. sane problem - unable to detect scanner
I'm having the same problem, only instead of (Invalid Argument) error, I get
(status 4) error after the failed to open message.
I hope someone can figure this out. Kinda sad that I can't get something as
simple as a USB scanner to work under Linux.
