There is a XFCom driver and XFCom - xf86config program
that you may use with XFree86, 3.3.3
Use http://www.tuxfinder.com to find RPM packages of these
XFree86, versions 3.3.4 and 3.3.5, will have support for this videochipset.
You may want to wait a short while for binaries of 3.3.5 to be released.

I am a fledgling Linux experimenter, and have recently setup a Linux
server on my home PC using the Slackware Distribution that came with
the QUE "Special Edition, Using LINUX.
Most of the installation has been ok, until I tried to set up
XWindows. For some reason, there were no Sample Config files
installed with this distribution, even though the book said they
should be there. So I pressed on with trying to set up my own config
file. I have an Acer 56L 15" MultiSync Monitor, and a Hercules
Dynamite 2MB VLB video card. The card uses the TSENG ET4000/W32
chipset, which is purported to be supported under Linux. I went thru
the XF86Config routine, answered all the questions based on my system
information, and when it saved the file, I went in under VI (my
FAVORITE editor <G>) and edited the bandwidth, Horiz and Vertical sync
sections, saved it, and then ran STARTX. The monitor jumped around
with a some weird looking lines, and then went basically black. I
then had to reboot to get back to Linux.
Anyone out there have a clue as to how I should proceed to TS this
one?? Or, better yet, anyone setup Linux with this Hercules card, or
a similar one have suggestions as to how they set up this card???
